In dit adventsplan staan we stil bij drie kernwoorden: uitzien, voorbereiden en vieren. We lezen hoe de kinderen in de Compassion-projecten uitzien naar het feest van kerst, hoe ze zich voorbereiden en hoe uitbundig ze het vieren. En tegelijkertijd kijken we met deze drie woorden naar David, Jozef en onszelf.

The Christmas story is the story of how God intervened in history through the birth of Jesus. The lives of Mary, Joseph, and the shepherds were utterly changed by this event. They found hope, love, peace, and joy; join the team from Vertical Worship as we remember together how, through Jesus, we can find these too. 

De Here Jezus is het Licht dat geopenbaard wordt voor alle volken, zei de oude Simeon in de tempel. In dit leesplan leven we toe naar het kerstfeest, dat we vieren in verbondenheid met christenen over de hele wereld.
