Have you ever been stung by a bee? If you have, then you know it’s definitely no fun. The pain that follows that sting is unbearable for a moment and, if you’re allergic, can even be fatal.
Similarly, before we became followers of Jesus, we were all at the mercy of the sting of sin. And the result of that sting? Death. But when Jesus died and rose again, He became the antidote to sin’s sting. He erased its power and conquered death on our behalf! Today, you get to live knowing that if your faith is in Jesus, you have the antidote for sin and death.
Let that truth sink in and give you both confidence and freedom as you go about your day.
