Drowning in Doubt?Sample
Job 23:8-10
Have you ever felt that whether you are going forward or looking backward, God is nowhere to be found? Even if you believe in your heart He is working, it can be difficult when we cannot see how He is moving.
In the midst of your despair, have you landed where Job does in today’s Scripture? Here he reminds himself that despite his own doubts, God knows the exact path he is on, and the end result of his struggles will be more than worth it.
In Romans 8, Paul writes, "I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
It is important to remember this verse as we face deep struggles as we live out our faith. On the mountaintops and in the valleys, on the left and on the right, God is with you, and He sees you.
● What is God saying to me?
● What does it mean to me?
● How can I apply what God is teaching me?
● How can I be specific in prayer today?
After you reflect on these questions, bring everything to God in prayer.
