Empowered to Live for God

This week, we have seen how good our Father is — sending Jesus to die for us and living in us through His Holy Spirit.

Hopefully, as you saw His ways and what He has done for you, there was awe and a desire to live for Him. The wonderful thing about God is that He not only tells you what to do, He tells you how to do it and then gives you the power to do it!

How? Through the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. He not only lives in us and relates with us, but He empowers us to live the way God wants us to. You are not alone in life — not in your battles with sin, leaving the past behind, or your fight against the devil. The Holy Spirit lives in you and gives you the strength to do what God desires for your life.

It takes faith to learn the Word of God and put it into practice with the help of the Holy Spirit. When you learn what God desires of you, simply believe His Word and ask the Holy Spirit for help. He will strengthen you to live out what the Bible says.
