The Pursuit - 12 WeeksSample

The story of faith doesn’t start with us searching for God — it starts with God calling out to us. In Isaiah 55, God invites the spiritually hungry to come and be filled. No price tag, no qualifications, no secret formula. Just come.
That word changes everything. It means you don’t have to have your life figured out before pursuing God. He meets you right where you are — empty, tired, or searching — and offers something that the world can’t: real satisfaction. Every other pursuit in life promises joy but leaves us thirstier than before. God alone offers what truly satisfies the soul.
The invitation goes beyond belief; it’s about participation. “Listen,” God says. “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near.” Pursuing God means making space to listen, to turn from old ways, and to discover that His thoughts and ways are higher than ours.
This is where the 12-week journey begins — not with striving, but with responding. God is already calling. All that’s left is to come.
Reflection:
What would it look like for you to “come to the waters” this week — to pause, listen, and let God fill your spiritual thirst?
