Giving Thanks in Every Season

Day 3: Reaping a Harvest of Thanksgiving

In Galatians 6:9, Paul encourages us to “not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Gratitude, faith, and perseverance go hand in hand. When we continue to thank God and trust Him in every season, we are planting seeds that will lead to a harvest of blessing. This harvest may come in unexpected ways, but God is faithful to reward those who continue to seek Him.

Financial difficulties can make us feel like giving up, but the Bible promises that our perseverance will result in a harvest. When we maintain a thankful heart and keep trusting God, we position ourselves to receive His blessing. Don’t give up—keep planting seeds of faith and gratitude, and trust that God will bring about a harvest in His perfect timing.

Today, reflect on the harvest you are waiting for. Thank God for the blessings He has in store for you and for the ways He’s already been faithful in your life. Trust that your perseverance will lead to a harvest of blessing.

Reflection Questions:

• What harvest are you waiting for in this season of your life?

• How can you continue to plant seeds of gratitude, even when the harvest seems far off?

• How does maintaining a thankful heart strengthen your faith in God’s promises?
