Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord!

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men!”

And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

And this will be the sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”

And there were shepherds residing in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
