Do All Roads Lead to God? Universalism vs. Singularity.

When you're broken, addicted, and lost, and you experience Jesus, attending church is everything to you. When you take it for granted and your life begins to turn around, there's a tendency to treat church like an accessory to our lives instead of it being what our lives are built on. This Bible plan helps readers to remember just how important it is to be in the Presence of God and fellow Jesus-followers on a regular basis!

When you put your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation from the consequences of sin, God becomes your Heavenly Father.  As if that weren’t enough, He throws in brothers and sisters to boot, a ready-made family with eternal ties.  However, membership in God’s family is a privilege that comes with responsibility.

This week’s journal took me longer than any other week to write and I got so frustrated. Suddenly I realized the topic was patience! It made me laugh out loud. How often do we lose patience? Every day? Let’s jump in and see what the Lord says about Patience, but don’t be rushed about it! Take your time….

Ray Comfort asks people what they fear about sharing the gospel. The number one answer is a fear of rejection. We want to be liked. Being rejected makes us feel like curling up like a worm in the heat of sunlight. But there’s something more important than our ego. It’s where the person we want to reach will spend eternity. We have to make a decision what is most important.

GO2020 is focused on mobilizing every believer to be a witness of Jesus Christ. Part of being mobilized is understanding the incredible responsibility God has entrusted to us—the good news of the kingdom! God has approved us for this task. Approved and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can overcome the fear of man and speak boldly the words of God.

Do we want to look back at our time in history and watch Christianity fall by the wayside? Do we want our generation to be known throughout all of history as the generation who was overtaken? It is our responsibility to step up, take action, and lead the NOW generation into the future. We don’t want Christianity to begin dying on our watch.

We live in tumultuous and uncertain times when the entire world has been shaken by a pandemic. No matter how bad things get we can still look into the word of God to find inspiration on how the men and women in there, faced their fears head on and still lived out their callings in faith.

It’s hard to be grateful in the comparison culture we live in. I need more influence, money, time, vacations, a bigger house, and a nicer car. Have you ever thought that? What if God has given us more than enough, and we refuse to glorify Him because we aren’t grateful for what we have? Over the next seven days, we’ll practice glorifying God through gratitude.
