It is easy to take everyday things for granted, but the secret to happiness is to enjoy them with gratitude and thanksgiving. A good life is not about what you have or how much you have. It is about what you do with the opportunities in front of you. Everything we come across is an opportunity to give thanks.

God has knit into His followers a longing to encounter Him. In this reading plan we will explore ways to experience and hear God in quiet solitude and guided meditation. Tearing down walls that keep you from encountering Him.

Walks are often enjoyed with other people. It’s great to be able to talk about what you’re seeing, feeling, and hearing. As we walk with God, He also intends for us to help others WALK more closely with Him. Each of the 5 days of this audio plan contains a short message (1-2 minutes). We will cover mentoring, connecting with others seeing opportunities, and handling challenges together.

We all go thru life running on self-effort, and we eventually get to the “pulling out our hair” moments from all that we must deal with daily. However, did you know that our Heavenly Father gave  us a helper? This helper supersedes all our natural abilities and once we get to the point of total dependence life becomes easier- “Would you take the help today?”

Worship is more than just singing songs, it is how we live our lives every moment of every day! This reading plan is designed to put a song in your heart as well as teach the different ways we can worship God. Other than singing, what are some of the ways you hear in these songs that you can worship God?

Prayer helps us find the words to ask for His blessings.  Meditation helps us remember to give thanks for He is the source of our blessings.  What are you most grateful for today?  This plan will help you stop and remember what you have and what you’ve been given.  Today is about remembering to express thanks.

As believers we are a part of God’s new humanity, and as a result we are called to walk in distinctiveness. We are called to walk in love, rejecting the idolatry of disordered sexuality. We are called to walk in humility, rejecting the idolatry of power. Walking in integrity, we reject the idolatry of success. And rejecting the power of greed, we are called to walk in simplicity. 

As Christians, we have the power of Jesus Christ living inside us, but so often, we surrender that strength to the one who opposes us. There is a battle happening all around us, but we’re not helpless. We can choose to use our God-given authority to fight for ourselves and for our loved ones. This plan will introduce you to your spiritual weapons and get you ready for battle!
