Our identity is defined by personal attributes such as character, gender and colour of skin, but also by the groups that we belong to. You may ask yourself: how do I view myself? How do others see me? The most important question however is: How does God see me? Who am I in Christ?

This plan is intended as a guide to discovering the message of Hebrews for yourself! Community is all about God’s design for us and His heart for us to know Him. But, why is that not actually what we experience in relationships? They are hard, messy, and often painful. How does that make sense if community is what God is all about? That’s what we’re talking about in this Plan as we learn to become like Jesus in relationships.

In this Plan, we are going to grow closer to Jesus by exploring what it looks like to internalize truth. We’ll let God’s Word transform us from the inside out, because there’s no better place to start than with the core of who we are.

God speaks to us through his Word. It provides all the guidance we need for our lives.

Be challenged to do more than just abstain from food, but set yourself apart mentally, physically, and spiritually through fasting. God promises if we seek Him with our whole heart, He will be found. He is a near God who hears our prayers and is attentive. Dive in and draw closer to God than ever before.

The "Pure Jesus" plan is a collection of reflections on Jesus as our freedom and forgiver (justification), our fullness and fulfiller (sanctification) and our friend and family (community on mission). The deeper we experience his transformation, the more our lives will reflect a pure image of our Savior.
