Whatever December looks like for you, wherever you are, whoever you are with or not with, our hope is that you will set aside time every day over the next four weeks to open God’s Word. Christmas can be an overwhelming season. We try to feel the joy of the celebration, but our long to-do lists and packed schedules often leave us exhausted and we crawl to Christmas Eve trying to survive until the 26th. In the middle of our very busy days, it's easy to forget what we really celebrate at Christmas: We celebrate Jesus. We celebrate His coming.

This Bible reading plan provides some insights from the book of Isaiah. Rather than a sequential journey through the songs, prophecies, and accounts that make up this book that spans a time-frame of about 220 years, we're going to jump around and pick up some of the beautiful promises and challenges in it. I'll provide the historical context where it's needed.
