This Advent Guide comes from students, faculty, and staff at Belmont University. Advent is that season of waiting that carefully and purposefully helps us to realign our priorities and to glimpse, anew, our place before God. Our humble hope is this guide helps people focus more fully on Jesus Christ through the Advent season.

A Hope Eternal – Advent Devotional explores the biblical themes of hope, joy, love, and peace as we celebrate the first coming and await the final return of Christ Jesus. Journey with Regent University School of Divinity’s faculty and staff as our hearts are once again recaptured by the Holy Spirit, focused on the eternal hope found in the incarnation of God’s Son, our Prince of Peace.

This daily devotional draws the reader into a closer walk with God. Each day, readings and thoughts from the Bible will help you to reflect, meditate and move closer into the presence of God and to hear something of His heart.
