Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount is one of the best-known sermons ever preached. This 26-day study through Matthew 5–7 gives you an in-depth look at Jesus’ teaching on what it means to be a Christian, how to live for God’s kingdom in a fallen world, what relationship Christians have to God’s law, and more.

Now that you are a Christian, you may be asking questions. What just happened? How do I learn more about God? If you will plan to spend at least five or ten minutes a day alone with God reading this short Bible study, you will learn a lot about God and what has just happened in your life.

Matthew’s Gospel opens the New Testament by brilliantly introducing the culmination of the entire Old Testament story. After thousands of years and dozens of generations, Jesus had come “to save his people from their sins” (Mathew 1:21). Matthew focuses on Jesus as King of Kings, who had come to reign on the throne of David forever.

When you hear the word "leader," you might think about an influential celebrity, a famous politician, a coach, or your new class president. Great leaders don't have to have official positions, titles, or people who report to them. With God, being a great leader is something anyone can achieve because leadership is simply about becoming the kind of person who's worth following. But how?

We'll look at four major stressors we all deal with and see how God's words can give us comfort, guidance, and help with each of them. We'll talk about what Jesus offers you when you're not okay, what God wants you to know when people reject you, what to do when it's not easy to do what's right, and when we feel worried, we'll see what God has to say.
