Money is God's rival in the human heart. Our meaning, our sense of value, and our sense of security all depend on the money and things we own, although this should not be so. Security can be found in money and things, or found in God. What is first in your life: money or God? Surely we'll all say that of course God is first, but actually, is He?

We’ve looked at Jesus’ radical impact on culture—now we get personal. Can I relate to Jesus’ “normal” life—in all his quiet and personal decisions? Like how he chose right from wrong, like when he lost someone he loved, like when he was misunderstood, marginalized, and underestimated? Together, we go deeper and look behind the stories of the Bible to discover how Jesus may have faced those personal crises.

While we may not know everything on the topic, we do know that a huge part of Jesus’ ministry while on earth involved healing. As you read this Bible plan, I pray that you will find healing in a deep and holistic way. The kind of healing that only the Great Physician can bring about.

In our world where it is so easy to be served, the call of Jesus tells us to rather BE the servants. The key is to keep looking up, keep seeking to please our Lord. Join us as we talk about several scriptures on servanthood, and be blessed in running the race to obtain the prize, to glorify the Lord.

God never intended for strong alpha males of character to be associated with toxic or abusive characteristics. We can pave the way for society to move beyond showing support from a distance toward loving one another in long-term advocacy and friendship.
