Being a father who prays isn’t the same thing as being a praying father. A father who prays takes actions. A praying father builds godly character. He’s in a constant and authentic exchange with a real and present God. This can be more easily said than done, but do it we must. Join us on a fatherhood journey as we learn how to be praying fathers who impact future generations.

Psalm 127:4 says, “Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.” When carefully aimed, arrows fly straight and true. If launched haphazardly, they’ll likely miss their mark.  During this 8-day plan, you will examine ways to aim your children towards God and launch them well. Each day includes a Scripture, devotional reading, and prayer.

Scaling our leadership is critical today. We must enlarge, magnify, maximize, and grow our leadership capacity to navigate our ever-changing environment. Every day we have choices about how we will engage with life. We make choices about the way we see, think, feel and act towards ourselves, one another, and God. Over the coming days, we invite you to prayerfully reflect as you read, so that your choices will enable a greater transformation in your life and the lives of others.

Sometimes we can get lost in the everyday tasks of parenting. We need to remind ourselves that the only thing we should aim for is the heart of our kids. If we trust the Lord, and teach them to do the same, we will see the rewards He promises come through every time. Let’s place in their hearts the melody they would want to sing when we are gone.
