Psalms 120 through 134 are known as the songs of ascent, an ancient mixtape for God’s people journeying to Jerusalem to worship the Lord. Solomon built the temple there, and the glory of God filled that place. In this plan, John Greco explores six of the songs of ascent, providing application for our modern-day journey as image-bearers of God. Among the Psalms there is a grouping of fifteen called the “Songs of Ascent.” Lift Off is a 21-day journey through these psalms designed to bring you closer to God as you remember His faithfulness. This will include a time in the morning, midday, and evening. Every prayer time begins with a call to prayer and includes the Gloria, the Lord’s Prayer, and closes with a biblical blessing.
