As Christians we want to be people of excellence. We should be doing everything as unto the Lord so that He is glorified through our work, our words and our actions. So, this week, let’s strive to be excellent as Christians, brothers, sisters, parents, students, professionals, neighbors and friends, in everything we do and say!

The Bible begins with, “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty.” But clearly, that was not a problem for God. He merely spoke and the emptiness was filled with life, beauty, and purpose. This gives us hope that God will do his best work in the emptiness of our own lives. Let’s pray and ask him to fill up our emptiness.

Excellence is a common goal but a rare reality. The nature of God is excellent therefore excellence should guide our daily lives. Over the next seven days we will discover the importance of excellence in every facet of a believer’s life.
