Natural disasters—such as hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, fires, tornadoes, even pandemics—often strike without warning. The shock, fear and sense of outrage can be overwhelming, leaving you feeling completely helpless and abandoned. In the midst of devastation and loss, be assured that God is with you—loving you and caring for you, “always ready to help in times of trouble” (Psalm 46:1).

Life has changed in early 2020! We have been SCATTERED from our usual location of communities of faith due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Can we find a purpose in the disruption? Is this the first time God's people have been SCATTERED? What can we learn from this season of disruption? Could God have a greater purpose for the church during this season?

We all carry a harsh judge inside ourselves, along with sense of entitlement: the belief that we deserve God’s blessing because of our good behavior. We must wage war against the judgment and contempt we are inclined to feel toward others.
