Life is full of “next steps”: new school years, new jobs, and new life stages. As we anticipate the upcoming change, we can often feel unsure and fearful. In Exodus, we learn how Moses prepared for his future as the leader of the Israelites. His story teaches us to seek God in our preparation and to find assurance in his constant presence.

Leadership is a divine calling, yet it is not without its challenges. In the vast and beautiful tapestry of God’s Word, we encounter countless men and women chosen to lead in His kingdom. These stories remind us that being called by God does not exempt us from struggles, heartaches, or moments of doubt.

What goes through your mind when you think about being left alone? Is it a good feeling? Is it a bad feeling? Does it bring up negative emotions? Or do you like being alone? What do we do with isolation. Over the next couple of days, we are going to look at what God does through isolation.
