And he #Jer. 28:14will put a yoke of iron on your neck until he has destroyed you. 49#[Jer. 5:15-17; 6:22, 23]; See Isa. 5:26-30 The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, #Jer. 48:40; 49:22; Lam. 4:19; Hos. 8:1; Hab. 1:8; [Ezek. 17:3, 12] swooping down like the eagle, a nation #Isa. 28:11; 33:19; Jer. 5:15whose language you do not understand, 50a hard-faced nation #[2 Chr. 36:17; Isa. 47:6]who shall not respect the old or show mercy to the young. 51It shall #ver. 33; Jer. 5:17; [Isa. 62:8, 9]eat the offspring of your cattle and the fruit of your ground, until you are destroyed; it also shall not leave you grain, wine, or oil, the increase of your herds or the young of your flock, until they have caused you to perish.

Night and day you shall be in dread and have no assurance of your life. 67#Job 7:3, 4 In the morning you shall say, ‘If only it were evening!’ and at evening you shall say, ‘If only it were morning!’ because of the dread that your heart shall feel, and #ver. 34the sights that your eyes shall see. 68And the Lord #Hos. 8:13; 9:3; [Jer. 43:7] will bring you back in ships to Egypt, a journey that I promised that #See ch. 17:16you should never make again; and there you shall offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.”
