Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Can spirits interact with the living? Is there really such a thing as purgatory? Will there be pets in heaven? Popular pastor Randy Frazee offers Biblically-based answers to questions about life and death. Drawn from the book What Happens After You Die: A Biblical Guide to Paradise, Hell, and Life After Death.
This three day Bible reading plan looks at what Peter says about Jesus: what it means to live for him – and what it means that Jesus was willing to die for us. Want to live for Jesus? Let Peter tell you more! The plan complements the free children’s game app Guardians of Ancora .
Perhaps one of the most debilitating parts of life can be summed up in one word—doubt. Doubt can destroy faith, trust, belief, and confidence when it is left unchecked and unresolved. The disciple Thomas, and even John the Baptist, experienced doubt that could have shattered their faith and trust in Jesus. This plan shares with us how doubt by Jesus can bring about peace, faith, grace, and patience.
Throughout the Bible, we are taught what it means to rely on God when we are struggling through difficult times. This plan is an abbreviated collection from the One Question Bible Study Series and focuses on life-giving passages with a single reflection question to ponder.
