Each day we make millions of decisions. Some minor and some that make a major impact. But all of our choices affect those around us. To make solid decisions we need to be rooted in God's Word and from that flows two aspects that should be at the center of our lives: Wisdom and Worship. This 14 day reading plan uses the Every Man's Bible to help us become rooted in God's wisdom and to live a life of worship to Him.

This reading plan explores the background to Paul's letters to the Corinthians, examines the structure and content of First and Second Corinthians, and reveals his eschatology.

The church at Corinth was plagued by internal division and sinful derision. Paul provides the only solution potent enough for their disunity and spiritual disruptions: “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Corinthians 1:10). 1 Corinthians reminds us that by focusing on Jesus and His glorious resurrection, we too will “be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the word of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Christ's grace has the power to change everything. We don't have to strive, to compete or compare, or question whether or not we measure up. We're enough because Christ in us in enough. The cross of Christ sets us free.

In part one of a five-part, verse-by-verse journey through the Book of 1 Corinthians, we'll dive into chapters 1–3 as we discover true wisdom.

“This Book is Alive” is a 21-day video devotional that follows the stories of 21 different young people as they attempt to live out their favorite Bible verses and disclose what that journey means to them. With the tender, artful approach of a modern-day illuminated manuscript, this project couches scripture in documentary-esque footage from diverse and genuine daily life.

Our earthly lives are a journey, and God’s guidance system enables us to avoid many detours along the way. We remain on the best road home when we allow God’s word to be our guidance system through the Holy Spirit.
