As a community prepares to enter into an upcoming conference, it is important to seek after the kingdom of the Lord and the plans that He has in mind. Each and every person desires a mighty move of God, and it is an incredible opportunity we have to meet in His presence privately before we meet in community.

Scripture teaches us, even exhorts us, to pray with unshakable belief, to open our ears and hear the promises of God, and invite them to dwell deep in our hearts. God wants us to pray these “Prayers of Faith” to anchor our trust in His assurances, knowing that God is always true to His Word. Only then do we pray in ways that abandon ourselves and our cares to God’s loving goodness and divine purposes. May we earnestly desire this for ourselves and the people we are knit together with in God’s family.

Written to Timothy, the books of 1 & 2 Timothy present Paul’s passion for preserving the truth of God’s Word. At the heart of Paul’s message is the charge for Timothy to remain true to the gospel, no matter what.
