The James River Church 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer Devotional plan is designed to encourage and strengthen you as you devote this time to walking closer with the Lord. The plan consists of short devotions and a Scripture reading plan for each day. We know that as you spend time fasting and praying, we will see God bring Heaven down to impact our churches, communities, and the world!

As Gather25 approaches, we are excited to share a 21-day prayer guide to invite you to join us as we prepare our hearts, build our faith, and encourage one another to share Jesus. Each day, we will share Scripture, a thought and a prayer to help you prepare your heart to gather with Jesus followers around the world. Take time to read the provided Scripture aloud, pause, and reflect. End your time in prayer and make each day your own.

Amidst all the hustling to get stuff done during the Christmas season, we invite you to pause daily and meet 25 Bible Characters (some well-known, some not-so-well-known) that Jesus brought healing to. Just as He has brought healing into the lives of those in the Bible, He is ready to bring healing to you today.

This plan will guide you in reading the Book of Acts (of the Apostles) and give you opportunity to hear what God is speaking to you personally. We are looking forward to reading and hearing this together with our church.
