The welcome of Christ was astonishing to the culture around him. He gave voice to the speechless, frustrated the powerful, and humbled the wise. As Christians, our welcome should be like his– wonderfully surprising, deeply challenging, and firmly rooted in love. This five-week study explores the complicated and beautiful welcome of Jesus toward his most beloved creation, human beings. Jump in with us, individually or with a small group, and let’s transform how we show welcome.

Amidst all the hustling to get stuff done during the Christmas season, we invite you to pause daily and meet 25 Bible Characters (some well-known, some not-so-well-known) that Jesus brought healing to. Just as He has brought healing into the lives of those in the Bible, He is ready to bring healing to you today.

This plan will guide you in reading the Book of Acts (of the Apostles) and give you opportunity to hear what God is speaking to you personally. We are looking forward to reading and hearing this together with our church.

Luke writes Acts to provide a historical record of the early church and show the trajectory of God's redemptive plan after the resurrection of Jesus. Acts reorients us to the mission of God today: a diverse church, filled with the Holy Spirit, dedicated to showing and sharing the gospel across the earth.

As people who follow Jesus, we are considered to be His disciples. This simply means that - through the Spirit’s power – we are learning to be with Jesus in order to embody His teachings for His mission.
