In this 19th installment, Who Do You Say I Am? explores how Scripture answers Jesus’ question, “Who do you say that I am?” Through Job, we wrestle with God’s wisdom amid suffering. 1–3 John and Jude call us to love, discernment, and faithfulness, while Revelation points to Christ’s ultimate victory. During Advent, weekly readings from the nativity story draw our hearts to the wonder of Christ’s coming. May the Spirit strengthen our faith, deepen our hope, and lead us to boldly confess: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

This Christmas season, we pause to remember the angel’s announcement: “Good news that will bring great joy to all people.” Through every reading, we discover again the wonder of Jesus, our Saviour, Redeemer, and Hope. This is the first of 12 standalone monthly reading plans designed to complete a full year of study. Each plan focuses on the Book of Revelation while connecting related Old and New Testament passages and prophecies that Revelation quotes, alludes to, or builds upon. Revelation draws deeply from the Old Testament (Daniel, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Zechariah, Psalms, Exodus) and links to Jesus’ teaching (Matthew 24–25, Mark 13, Luke 21) and the rest of the New Testament. The monthly format makes it simple to follow and complete one section at a time.

A man appears and claims to be the Son of God. The people wonder: Is it true? Years later, an old man records his experiences with this Jesus. It is John. He is likely the last living eyewitness from the inner circle. He lives in a time of intense pressure. Both the Romans and the Jewish authorities want to wipe out the message of Jesus, and within the churches, people are emerging who downgrade Jesus to just a "good teacher." John writes the Gospel of John. His goal: To prove that Jesus truly is the Son of God.
