The answer to your prayers does not solely depend on God; it also depends on you and your community. In life's challenging seasons, we all need people, and a community to lean on. Your God-given dream may not become a reality without the influence of others. God never intended for you and I to do life alone, we are created for community.

The author of this plan illustrates how, when we were without Christ, we had put on the body of Adam. Since the day we believed in Jesus, we began to put on the body of Christ. It is our decision to put on the new clothes someone gives us, or leave them for moths to ruin. God did not only give us new clothes, but the best clothes.

Did you know that Jesus talked about money 11 times in the 40 parables in the New Testament? That’s nearly 27.5% of the documented teachings of Jesus. That tells us just how important our mindset and attitude towards money are. We must be aware of how we form our thoughts and attitudes about money so we can have a Christ-centered perspective.

Over the next seven days, you’ll engage in readings and practices that will open the way to living more deeply rooted and grounded in the love of Christ. Each day, you’ll Rest, Receive, Respond, and Remain as you engage with Jesus through Scripture.
