Over the next 30 days we are going to read through 1 and 2 Peter and 1, 2 and 3 John. It is our prayer that this daily Bible Reading Plan will deepen your faith and encourage you.

What an incredible gift the Cross is. This grand gesture of salvation that was done for all mankind, is also the most intimate act of love done so that you could know the eternal love of your Saviour. His blood, the nails, the spear, the cross - all for you. Join us over the next four weeks as we journey through what the cross means for us.

Praise God daily during the Christmas season with 3-4 descriptions of God taken from the MemLok Bible Memory System. Pray three sentences. "I praise You today Lord, because of You... The one I appreciate most about You today is... In my life today, I want others to see You as..."

Bible Society Australia is encouraging all Christians to kick start their Bible reading habit, starting with just 25 words from the Bible every day for 31 days. The Bible is made up of chunks of about 25 words- what we call verses. And that's about the number of words we use on Twitter, in an SMS, a Facebook status update. It seems God's been into short messaging for a long time! We want Christians to find out how to 'live light' in 25 words. Pray that God would teach you through His Word as you read and consider the question.

God wants you and me to live by the faith of our ancestors and to pass it on so that those who come after us will know and experience this wonderful gift-this marvelous heritage of faith. Faith is the spiritual force that sustains life. God has created a legacy of faith for us, and He wants us to honor our heritage of faith by upholding this legacy.
