Prayers and reflections for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in 2026 are prepared by by the Inter-Church Relations Department of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The resources draw upon historic traditions of prayer and petitions used by the Armenian people, originated in the ancient monasteries and churches of Armenia. The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2026 offers Christians throughout the world the opportunity to draw upon this shared Christian heritage. Resources are jointly published by the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity and the World Council of Churches.

Over the course of Holy Week, we’ll examine eight commands and teachings of Jesus with an eye to understand both why he thought these principles were so important and how the Lord can use them to help us become the people he has created and called us to be. These readings are part of a larger Lenten guide, available on our website, that starts on Ash Wednesday and concludes with Easter Sunday.

We want to invite you to have a fresh look at your journey with Jesus, and how you can help yourself not be boxed-in to your own life-plans. Our desire is that you would go beyond your limitations and discover new horizons, new and better choices, new things that God has for you. This resource is aimed at walking new believers (regardless of age) through their first few steps in Christ over the course of 9 days.
