Advent serves as a season of both reflection and anticipation. Though the traditional Advent season begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas, this 5-day plan can be done over any five days during the Christmas season. We’ll dive into various Scriptures, each corresponding to spiritual themes of hope, peace, joy, and love. These themes deepen our understanding of how we are called to await the coming of the Lord.

Come join us as we sing psalms from Psalter Project’s album “Highways in our Hearts” and reflect on some of the different blessings and challenges of the Christian life.

Among the Psalms there is a grouping of fifteen called the “Songs of Ascent.” Lift Off is a 21-day journey through these psalms designed to bring you closer to God as you remember His faithfulness. Each day in this plan contains a psalm, a devotional, and a prayer. Two days are built into each week for prayer and reflection.

See and pray through God’s heart and purposes for Israel from three different points of view: God’s love language toward Israel, God’s covenants with Israel, and God’s choice of Jerusalem.
