What Worship Is

Into the darkness where I am not afraid to go, I will come. I will find you. You think you do the things you do in secret, that no one notices or cares. But I see you and am with you. I do not depart. I do not leave your side. 

With Me with you, always with you, how do you worship Me? How do you choose to see Me, recognize Me, adjust the eyes of your heart to know where I am, with you?

My daughter, I turn your heart to Me, but you get to choose how I turn it, whether or not to acknowledge my presence in you.

Don’t turn away, my love. 

Breathe in and know Me, daughter. Breathe out and know I’ve made you. Worshipping Me means listening and believing, in the moment, I am here . . . and letting Me help you see my face. 

I have so much to show you. Just let Me show you all the places I am. In your work, in your home, in your relationships, in your dreams, in your personality . . .your actions, your frame, your voice, the curve of your chin and your jaw, the delight in your eyes. Yes, it is there. 

I give you delight in your eyes, your heart for Me.

You don’t have to work so hard to chase anything down. Chase Me down and try to abandon all the things you wish would change.

Worship Me and all things look different. Worship Me with truth, for the renewed heart I give you, all fresh and clean and beautiful. And from that place of freedom and joy and new perspective, the journey with Me begins.
