When Jesus spent time on Earth He surrounded Himself with 12 very special friends. They went with Him everywhere. They listened and learned from His teachings. They wanted to know everything they could about Him and wanted to spend time with Him. He called these people Disciples. Did you know we can be Jesus disciples too!  Spending time with Jesus is important! Even though Jesus is not physically here on earth, we can still do that by reading the Bible, praying and going to church.
