God's Not Dead: A Light In Darknessنموونە

More often than not, it is a lot less about what you say and more about how you say it. There is a reason this verse ends with gentleness and respect. It’s not hard to find a debate that you can jump into online. This scripture is encouraging us to be prepared to answer the “why” part of our faith; but, in gentleness and in respect. It’s also important to note that this Scripture says our defense is a response to those who ask.
Today, do some self-reflection. Are you throwing yourself into conversations and stepping into debates when it is not necessary? Are the tones of respect and gentleness conveyed when being asked to share your why? Honoring Christ with our words, shows the world that God is full of light, kindness and grace.
