Soul Prosperityنموونە

3 John 1:2 has probably become one of my favorite scriptures this past year as I’ve used it as the foundation for taking care of my physical, mental and spiritual health. You see, I’ve learned that all parts go together. If I’m not operating with a sound mind, I won’t be able to understand God’s commandments for me in season. If my body is sick, I can’t move through the earth in ways in which He requires. If my soul is sick, I won’t be able to see or receive His good favor. God’s word enters my heart and causes me to take action…that is if my soul is ready to receive it. I’ve learned that if your soul is broken, nothing God will say or do in your life will work. It’s like putting a delicious T-Bone steak in front of a dog that misses its master. His soul is so distraught in missing his best friend that he has no desire to enjoy all that has been laid out in front of him.
So, the question is, what has gotten into your soul to the point that you no longer desire to lift up your head and take in all of the goodness that God desires to display in your life today?

This devotional aims to show how important it is to keep our souls nourished so that we may fulfill the will of God for our lives
