ALT+CTRL+DEL

Most of us from the predominant Windows Operating System days would know what this combination of keys could do! But today, files that I erase from my laptop go straight to Trash and if I think they would stay in there forever, I’m wrong. An automated system deletes them after a month and they are permanently erased. 

God forgives our sins without a tag attached to it! Romans 8:1 says, ‘Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus…’. Forgiveness is the best form of love in any relationship; God forgives us and remembers it no more! Bryant H. McGill, a well-known author once said, ‘There is no love without forgiveness and there is no forgiveness without love!’

I want to urge you today, go take that first step! Go to God in boldness and talk to Him about your sin, your guilt, your struggles and your pain. 1 John 1:9 reads, ‘But if we confess our sins to God, he will keep his promise and do what is right: he will forgive us our sins and purify us from all our wrongdoing.’ 

It is more than just saying ‘my bad’; it’s the assurance of forgiveness and freedom that comes with it.

Remember, if you have been rejected by those you had hoped would forgive you, don’t let the past keep you from going to God.
