Peter wrote a letter to Christians who were scattered in many places. Sometimes they found it hard to do the right thing. So he begins his letter by reminding them of a few good things.
Read 1 Peter, chapter 1, verse 1 and 2, if you haven’t already done so.
What is missing from these sentences?

Think about what it means to be chosen by God. How does that make you feel?
Peter prays for the people at the end of verse 2. Who would you like to pray for to have God’s peace?
Pray. Ask God to give that person God’s peace.
