Don’t hide your emotions from the Lord!

David was very transparent in his writings...he expressed his emotions and wasn’t afraid of baring his soul before his God, telling Him what he was really feeling. One day, he declared, “Lord, by Your favor You have made my mountain stand strong; You hid Your face, and I was troubled. I cried out to You, O Lord; and to the Lord I made supplication: ‘What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your truth?’” (the Bible, Psalm 30:7-9)

God appreciates when you are real with Him, when you’re genuine and share with Him what you’re really feeling.

Are you having trouble understanding why certain situations continue to persist in your life? Are you hurting or suffering? Tell Him.

Do you feel lost? Abandoned? Betrayed? Open your heart to the Lord. Give Him your tears as well. He wants to listen to you, reassure you, comfort you.

You can be honest with God...He’s your best friend!
