Life Abundantly: 5 Days Of Healing Devotionalsنموونە

Abundant life isn’t just for our spirits, or our bodies, but for our souls, too. When we find ourselves tormented day in and day out by fear, self-hatred, depression, or addiction, it’s an indicator that our souls are operating outside the work of Jesus, our good shepherd.
The beauty of our Good Shepherd is that he does not tell us to “get over” our anxiety or our depression. He provides for us. He gives us rest. He refreshes us when we’re thirsty for His presence. He points us towards righteousness. He’s far less interested in “fixing” us as He is in loving us to a place of fullness, of understanding our identity and letting that understanding replace brains and hearts wracked by fear or sadness.
What’s one hurt, fear, addiction or trauma that you feel may never be “fixed”? Today, push past the lies that say Jesus wants to fix you and let Him heal your heart the way He wants to—through a gentle, loving, and powerful process. Abundance is found most in a heart overcome by peace and joy.
