God gives more rules on care of skin ailments, molds on clothing and on walls. He gives His rules on killing animals for meat.
Note Leviticus 17:3: Meat was not part of the normal diet, it was primarily reserved for meals at the festivals and other celebrations such as the first day of the months. The killing was to be done at the tabernacle to avoid pagan rites.
