In this life of deadlines, meetings, instant gratification, 6- second sound-bites and instant messaging it can be difficult to sit, meditate, contemplate, pray and…wait! And yet, that is what the Psalmist asks us to do. In fact learning to do that, and that God’s timing is not always our timing, is a blessing for us all.

Do you find the world and all of its demands on your time can get in the way of your time with God?

Pray: Dear Lord, please help me to be patient, to wait on you and to trust you. Help me to know that your timing for me is perfect and that you have my life in your hands. Amen.
