When God Says Noنموونە

God’s no will save you from yourself.

I would have made a great youth worker, professor, or pastor. But if any of those had been yeses I would likely have never met my wife. 

I would have never written my first book – which led to a dozen more being written after it. 

I would have never met some of the most important people who are in my life today. 

I would certainly not be writing this, to you, now.

When I read John 10:10b, I don’t see it is a far-off promise that applies to a heavenly existence. I see it as something that has real meaning and weight for this life on earth. Right here. Right now.

   I have come that [you] may have life, and have it to the full.

God’s no will prevent you from becoming the person you think you could be so that you can become the person God knows you must be.

God made you, and because of that, I guarantee His perceptions of your potential are infinitely higher than your own. Don’t settle.
