I am positive he heard it that morning.

He had to!

There’s no way an army of horses and chariots could have surrounded his city without riling up noise and screams and chaos.

But none of it phased Elisha.

He got up like he always did, nice and early, grabbed a cup of coffee (or its ancient equivalent), and moseyed on outside like it was any ordinary day.

Which it was…except for the army surrounding his city who carried an order to kill him.

Elisha acted differently to what we might expect because he thought, believed, and saw differently than we do.

He took advantage of something we each have access to.

Something that gave his servant the ability to literally see angels.

And that something is exactly what we’re going to learn to use in this short devotional.
