940 BC King Baasha (northern kingdom), opposes Judah where King Asa, now ignoring God, buys help from Aram/Syria. Baasha dies and is followed by Elah, Zimri, Tibni, Omri and then Ahab. These kings are all evil. In 912 BC Jehoshaphat, Asa’s son, revives Judah spiritually and re-arms his nation.
