Prayer: Father I want to thank you for the beauty of your Word—it’s images, its pictures. I want to praise You for the beauty of creation that makes such words possible. I give You praise for the beauty of our Savior and for the warm affection of His invitation to come away from every other relationship that would entangle me to come away from any worldly thing that would distract me, and to be in a place of close intimacy with You as my God.
