What is something you are super protective of? It could be a favorite sweater or pair of shoes. Or maybe it’s a journal, your phone, or even the knowledge of your best friend’s secret crush! Whatever it is, you do your best to make sure it stays safe with you. But have you ever thought to treat your faith the same way? This verse reminds us that we are to treat our faith with the same amount of protection and do whatever we can to guard it. But the great news is we don’t have to guard it on our own! Paul reminds us that the Holy Spirit will help us keep close our faith in God. Take time today to pray and ask God to continue to help you protect your faith as closely as you protect other things you consider precious.
