The Basic Training Challenge – The Commander's Bioنموونە

Day 7 — Divine Medevac
Pray:
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.
Read: Luke 7:1-10
Reflect
A centurion was a senior member of the Roman army who commanded a hundred soldiers. Today, he would have held the approximate rank of a senior Non-Commissioned Officer. Why did the centurion come to Jesus? What evidence is given that this soldier demonstrated care for others rather than just talk about it? How did the centurion show he understood that Jesus is a commander and has divine authority and power? What was Jesus’s reaction? How are we allowing Jesus to be the commander of our lives, so He may demonstrate His power and authority?
Respond
Lord Jesus, I trust You completely. Help me to love others as You have loved me. Amen.
