Love God Greatly: To Do Justice, To Love Kindness, To Walk Humblyنموونە

After telling the people that Jerusalem would be reduced to ashes, the prophet Micah brings hope to their hearts and tells them of the day when Jerusalem and the temple would be rebuilt.
This is a Messianic prophecy that tells us about the period known as “the last days,” when Jesus will return as King to establish His kingdom on earth. There were promises for God's chosen people and Micah was sure to share them to encourage their hearts.
Revelation gives us a glimpse of the “New Jerusalem,” the eternal city without pain, tears, sorrow, or death. This is the heavenly place where we will spend eternity. What a beautiful hope we have! Even when every earthly thing is destroyed, even if we lose everything we have, Jesus is preparing a place for us (John 14:2).
Oh, Father, thank You for the hope we have in You. Help us remember the beautiful room Jesus is preparing for us in heaven so our hearts won't be troubled with everyday sorrows. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We are surrounded by injustice and pain. We see it not only in our world but also in our own lives and it can be disheartening and overwhelming. But we are not without hope. This is what Micah is all about. He is not afraid to get in our face about some hard topics like sin and judgement.
