KNOWING VS. BELIEVING
Have you ever thought about the difference between knowing and believing? You can know something is true, but it’s a totally different thing to believe it. For example, you KNOW that parachutes are made to help skydivers slowly and safely fall to the ground. If you BELIEVE it, though, you would be willing to do it yourself...which would mean jumping out of a plane and putting it to the test. See the difference? Believing puts knowledge into action.
One day, Jesus asked His disciples a very important question. He didn’t want to know what information they knew about Him, He wanted to know what they believed about Him.
Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” - Matthew 16:15
Every person has to answer this same question. So, what about you?
Who do you say that Jesus is? What do you believe about Him?
