God has your interest at heart!
God has our best interest at his heart. The writer of Hebrews prayed that God would bring out our full potential as a followers of Christ. The supreme desire of the prayer in this passage was that God would provide us with “everything good for doing his will” and to produce in us only what is pleasing to him. The work of God is necessary to make our work a reality. If God produces in us what is pleasing to him, we will be supremely equipped to do his will. We should find peace knowing that the source for all good is not found in ourselves but in God alone. [Holman]
