The Choice is Yours

How will you live this day? Will you notice the sunrise and marvel at the beauty of God’s creation? Or will you wake up, check your phone, gulp some coffee, and switch to autopilot again? Will you dream of new adventures and pray for fresh revelation? Or will you settle into old patterns and complain that nothing ever changes? Will you brush past that person walking by on the street? Or will you honor their presence with a genuine, heart-warming smile? Will you look at that person in the mirror and only notice the things you want to change about him/her? Or will you see the one-of-a-kind child of God you are? It’s easy to forget that you’re making these choices (and countless others!) every day. Slow down and take your life’s journey with intention. You will be amazed at the things you’ve been missing along the way.

Prayer:  

Jesus, I choose You, again and again. I choose Your way of living the one, beautiful life You’ve given me. Help me not to miss it! Amen.
